Steve & Francesca danced back down the aisle as Husband and Wife at their wedding in Dorset at the stunning Lulworth Castle! The day was perfect; sun when it was supposed to rain, so many happy people in one place and Lulworth Castle was one of my favourite venues I’ve ever worked at! The place is just breathtaking with incredibly high ceilings and original brick walls throughout and huge rooms to have the ceremony, meal and dancing.

As we were driving down to Lulworth Cove for couple pictures Steve pointed out a house to me and said that was where their dog Otis was staying for a few days. As we came down from the Cove and walked back to the car I walked past a dog and thought he looked a bit familiar (I’d had Steve, Fran & Otis round to mine a few weeks before the wedding.) As Steve and Francesca walked down behind me I could start to hear shrieks- it was Otis!! Nothing had been arranged but by chance the person looking after Otis decided to walk him in the very same place at the very same time that we were down at the Cove! Steve & Francesca were delighted as was little Otis. They picked up him, had lots of hugs and he made it into their wedding pictures. This is one of my very favourite weddings I’ve photographed and I’m thrilled to share it with you!

We could not have chosen a better person to photograph our wedding. Olly has an incredible way of capturing joy on film. We knew that we weren’t naturals in front of a camera and that lots of posed pictures would take us away from being immersed in celebrating with our friends and family. Olly’s style of wedding photography was exactly what we were looking for. It was lovely to be able to meet him (and his family!) a few weeks before and so on the day Olly seamlessly became one of our guests and was a kind and calming face to find in the crowd.

All we wanted from our wedding was for everyone to feel loved, relaxed and have fun and we were really pleased to see Olly also having a great time! We got our previews 2 days after the wedding just as we arrived at our mini moon and those few photos alone blew us away. We have had so many messages from our friends and family about how much they love our photographs and how talented Olly is. We couldn’t agree more and we will recommend him to anyone who will listen!
