Michael & Sevda’s Wedding at Cooling Castle

Michael & Sevda had their wedding at Cooling Castle. The forecast was storms and rain all day. I was a bit worried as Sevda had her heart set on getting outdoors and making the most of the beautiful countryside around their venue. There was a 99% chance of rain ALL DAY but we ended up with blue skies and no rain apart from when we sat down to eat! Result! Micheal and Sevda are based in America, she’s an Actress and he’s a Director. I knew their wedding would be wonderfully creative but what I didn’t anticipate was that they would run at full pelt (and I mean full pelt) as soon as we got outside after the ceremony! Those smiles! When the forecast gives you rain, just run. The Turkish dancing in the evening was a real highlight. Michael had to smash a pot on the floor at the end of a dance and I felt the pieces fly past my head when I was photographing it! These two were a delight to be around.
