When in Rome… photograph one of the best weddings you’ve ever been to! James & Tina had Monday nights to plan the wedding of their dreams in Italy and they’d always have a glass of limoncello to make planning a bit more fun. The wedding at Borgo di Tragliata in Rome was delayed from May until October and James & Tina hosted me and 80 family and friends incredibly well. I was so proud of them for going ahead with a destination wedding during the pandemic. I stayed on to photograph the dance floor until 1.30am (new record!) and the wedding band were incredible. I’ll never forget this weekend in Rome and I feel like I’ve come back to the UK with some amazing memories and new friends.
Where do we start with Olly? He has been an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the moment we first enquired, he was responsive and enthusiastic and made us feel like our wedding was his only focus – his passion for what he does is clear! He was also so patient and flexible with us given the uncertainties with the pandemic at the time of booking and our inevitable change of date! We are so so glad he could make the new date! Coming from two relatively camera shy individuals, we knew we wanted a documentary photographer and Olly made us feel at ease in the lead up to the wedding, and throughout the day. What’s more – he did a great job at integrating with the guests and adding to their enjoyment as well! And saving the best till last… the pictures! They are absolutely stunning. He caught absolutely every little event throughout the day and the big ones too. We have a real portfolio to look back on and treasure for a lifetime! We highly recommend Olly and can’t thank him enough for the pictures that we will have forever, and for adding to the experience that we will never forget!
