I love putting together these end of year collections. 2022 has been a really enjoyable year and I’ve shot some of my favourite weddings. Getting to travel again for weddings and with my family has been a real plus too! I took over 150,000 frames and sent 17,000 images to my 35 couples this year. I’ve travelled 7,300 miles including a trip to Bordeaux and two weddings in Italy. I’ve used my electric car for all my UK weddings. Some real memories from this year include looking out over the rooftops of Rome during James & Paige’s wedding reception, pinching myself that I got to photograph a wedding at Kew Gardens and the heavens opening during Sam & Lottie’s outdoor wedding ceremony. I’ll always remember having a little limoncello with Antonio as his family & friends were dancing in Tuscany.

In 2022 I had the pleasure of mentoring Tom Cawdron. He came with me to Kew, Rome and other places and his work is already incredible! He’s the nicest guy too. My work has continued to receive awards this year. I received a This is Reportage award and a Fearless Award in 2022. I’m now ranked in the Top 10 for UK Wedding Photographers by Fearless for the first time. For a second year in a row I received Highly Commended by The Wedding Industry Awards. In 2023 I’m getting a brand new website, I’m taking on less weddings (25) and working less Saturdays so I can enjoy more of a balanced life with my family. I’m really excited about a three day Indian wedding in the Algarve and Escaping to the Chateau for a wedding in May! That’s all to come.
