2019 has been an amazing year! 110,000 images taken, 14,339 images sent to clients, 5,650 miles travelled, 66 canapés eaten (I think?!) 24 amazing couples to work for and 2 first looks!
I never pose people on their wedding days, I capture the real stuff; the tears, the belly laughs and the bear hugs. This never feels like a job to me, it always feels like a creative passion that I get to call my “work”. In 2019 I photographed a wedding in the hills of Tuscany during the European heatwave(!), I was a Chauffeur when a Bride & Groom’s wedding car never showed up (thanks Milky- my electric car) and fragments of a clay pot flew past my head at high speed during a Turkish dance! I’ll never forget the Chinese pre wedding games involving Groomsmen and a banana in Rome and when two umbrellas broke on me in the space of 5 minutes during a storm on a wedding morning.
2019 has been a significant year for me too. I photographed my 250th wedding and I celebrated my 10 year anniversary to Kirsty. We spent a weekend in London together and loved it. A huge thanks to everyone who’s entrusted me with their wedding day, liked and shared my work and recommended me this year. As a small business I couldn’t do this without you. Thanks Tom James for making the original soundtrack to this highlights video too. 2020 is looking good with my first Marathon to run in April and then weddings to photograph in Portugal and Germany! So here it is- my Best of 2019….
Olly is an incredible man who also happens to be an incredible photographer. He never felt intrusive yet captured some beautiful close up shots, he was always calm and relaxed which meant that our photos as a couple resembled this, and he made us feel very at home in his presence. Ash & Steph

When Mike popped the question I knew that there was only ever going to be one person for the job, the brilliant Olly Knight. It really was like having one of our good friends at our wedding, who just so happened to be awesome at photography!!
