Mount Ephraim Gardens is a stunning wedding venue in the countryside between Canterbury and Faversham, Kent. This country estate has been owned by the Dawes family for 300 years. This venue only takes on a certain number of weddings each year so it doesn’t have the “conveyer belt” feeling that a wedding venue taking on 100+ weddings a year would have. I loved photographing James and Emily’s wedding here at Mount Ephraim in March with my assistant James. They had an Alice in Wonderland theme to the day and their little dog Rex was part of the celebrations too! When everyone clapped after their kiss Rex got quite excited and wouldn’t stop barking! Light pours in through the glass ceiling to the ceremony hall and there were so many great places for the couple photographs during the afternoon. I’m looking forward to returning to Mount Ephraim in October for another wedding and I hope you enjoy looking through these images.
