Michael & Judith had the wedding of their dreams at Chateau de la Motte Husson (aka Escape to the Chateau). Judith had been planning the day for 4 years and had so much enthusiasm and positivity throughout the whole day. Dick and Angel welcomed us into their incredible home with such warmth and the pair of them were so down to earth and easy to chat to. Dick hosted the ceremony and cooked some amazing food (I’m still thinking about that veal) and Angel co-ordinated the whole day and didn’t stop smiling. With 30 guests you might think it would’ve been a quiet day but there were moments all the time to document. Their three boys were in and out of the hot tub and trampoline, Michael’s step Dad Tim decided to fit his whole body under the mobile bar (see below) and the dance floor was so so good (Judith’s 80 year old Mum was dancing to her favourite rave song!) Michael and Judith, thanks so much for taking me out to France with you. The 12 hour coach journey there and back was worth it for your wedding day- one of the best experiences I’ve had in my photography life!

We met up with Olly before the wedding to chat and I instantly knew he was the one. Olly is warm, friendly and instantly puts you at ease; he clearly knows his stuff. Olly slotted perfectly into the day, he spoke with everyone so people relaxed around him allowing for the natural shots which is what we wanted. If you want endless posed pictures I would book someone else, if you want natural, raw, emotional, story telling and quality photography then this really is your man! (Who wants to waste hours of their special day standing around for photos when you could be on the dance floor or making memories with your friends and family?!) He’s captured actual feelings, you can feel the laughter and cry with the tears, he is an absolute master.
