Kiel & Kat had their wedding at Sacred Heart Church in Wimbledon in August. They wanted documentary style wedding photography and found me because I’d shot a wedding at their reception venue, London Rowing Club, the year before. Kat got ready with her family at home and I hopped in the car to the Church ceremony with her and her Dad. The Sacred Heart is a grand and elegant Church and I loved taking photos during the ceremony with it’s incredibly tall ceiling. It was really light inside too with lots of colour. Kiel and Kat had a drinks reception in the Church grounds after the ceremony which was great for everyone to mingle before they left the Church for the reception on London buses. The speeches were heartfelt but really funny too. Kiel and his Brother had me laughing from behind the camera. We didn’t get a sunset in the evening but we did find some geese and Kiel and I both helped Kat down to the river for their couple photos arm in arm with Kat in the middle so she wouldn’t slip (going the extra mile hey?!!) Kiel and Kat are lovely laid back people and I was really pleased with Kiel’s review he wrote for me.
Olly is a superb photographer and a really nice genuine guy. He has an ability to make everyone feel at ease throughout the day whilst capturing the best moments of the wedding. We are delighted with the wedding photos we have received and would certainly recommend Olly to any couple on the lookout for a wedding photographer. Thanks again Olly! Kiel and Kat x
