The Ferry House Inn is a very popular wedding venue in Kent. It’s situated on the Isle of Sheppey. I am a recommended photographer for this venue. It has a lovely gazebo that can be used in the summer months with views over the estuary. It also has a great restaurant inside which has beams and a natural look to it. For weddings it looks great with circular tables around the room and a top table down one end of the room. Hops are hung from the beams adding to the rustic feel.

David & Carmen’s Wedding

David & Carmen had a December wedding at the Ferry House Inn. There was beautiful golden Winter light all day and Carmen’s Grandchildren provided some hilarious moments. I really loved being with these two! Such a good wedding!

Paul & Dawn’s Wedding

Paul & Dawn’s wedding at The Ferry House Inn was brilliant. The couple had great style- Dawn’s dress looked fantastic and the guys were in tweed three piece suits. Paul’s beard was very cool too (I had a bit of beard envy I think…) My highlight from the day was when Paul & Dawn walked back down the aisle and Paul decided to do a spontaneous dance. Dawn was cracking up and this all made for some great pictures. I couldn’t believe how warm it was for an October wedding. Not only were the couple able to have an outside wedding but it stayed warm all day and ended with an incredible sun set. We went down to the estuary for some sunset photos before the first dance. A great couple and a fantastic day.

Howard & Nicola’s Wedding

I went to photograph Howard & Nicola’s wedding on a hot Friday in July at The Ferry House Inn. The speeches were my favourite part of the day with everyone sitting outside on hay bails as the sun went down. There was such a good atmosphere at this wedding! Nicola emailed me to say “We knew as soon as we met Olly that he would be the right photographer for our wedding photos.  We loved his obvious passion for capturing the memories of the day and there is no denying what a lovely guy he was to have around.  Not only did he make us feel comfortable and relaxed but many guests also commented how friendly he was and how he felt like another guest on the day.  When the photos were waiting for us on return from honeymoon they exceeded all our expectations and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with the result!  A genuinely lovely guy and a fantastic photographer! Thanks Olly!”

Matt & Alison’s Wedding

I got to ride with Matt and Alison on a tractor just after they got married! Amazing! They had their ceremony down the road at the Church in Harty then their reception was at The Ferry House Inn. Alison messaged to say “Morning Olly! We got back yesterday and spent the whole afternoon and evening looking at the pics – we absolutely love them!!!! They are amazing, capturing the day as it was and all the emotions! Thank you so much!”

Sam & Louise’s Wedding

Sam & Louise own their own interior designer company “Trindade & Bird” so I knew the couple would put a lot of thought into their wedding and decorations- I wasn’t wrong! They managed to buy, transport and set up a giant Christmas tree at The Ferry House Inn and bring lots of woodland themed decor and animals! They even brought in a couple of owls to meet the wedding guests. Louise emailed me saying “The photo’s you took were absolutely stunning, all we had hoped for! They play out like movie stills when we look through them and they capture the emotions of the day just perfectly, even brought my Mum to tears (again!).  As you know we were initially drawn to your style of photography as like so many Brides I am not overly comfortable having my photo taken and loved the idea of not having to stand and pose for the camera – and this was most certainly the right decision as I don’t think I really saw you… you were so discreet and yet we have lots of beautiful photo’s to cherish and remember our day by – thank you so much Olly you were fantastic! Xx”
